Terms of Use.

These Terms govern your use of On Appeal, a service operated by Fieldstone Client Services LLC (“Fieldstone”), including the website, Free Qualification, review, case workspace, drafting tools, and guidance. Please read them before submitting information.

1. What On Appeal provides

The On Appeal service provides software-assisted and document-assisted review, organization, public-policy research, drafting, and escalation guidance for supported voluntary requests for reconsideration. We may help you organize a chronology, identify missing documents, compare customer- supplied information with public company policies and written terms, prepare a draft, maintain a structured case record, and review a company’s reply.

2. Not a law firm or legal service

Fieldstone, through On Appeal, is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is created. We do not analyze legal rights, legal claims, statutes, damages, limitation periods, causes of action, or litigation strategy, and we do not represent anyone before a company, court, arbitrator, agency, tribunal, or other formal body.

3. You remain the communicator and decision-maker

You review and decide whether to use any draft or suggestion. You send every communication from your own account or email, receive every reply, and decide whether to accept, reject, or propose any outcome. Fieldstone, through On Appeal, does not contact or negotiate directly with a company on your behalf, accept settlements, make decisions for you, receive or control recovery funds, or take authority over the matter.

4. Scope and stopping rules

The On Appeal service supports only ordinary consumer and low-stakes membership decisions suitable for a voluntary request for reconsideration. The exclusions on our Scope & Limits pageare part of these terms. Fieldstone may decline, pause, or stop a matter if it is outside scope, becomes legal or regulated, involves a formal process or deadline, requires professional advice, lacks reliable information, or no longer appears suitable for another voluntary attempt.

5. No deadline monitoring

Fieldstone does not identify, calculate, preserve, or monitor legal, contractual, warranty, appeal, chargeback, filing, or other deadlines. You remain responsible for protecting your interests and meeting every deadline. Do not delay seeking qualified professional help because you submitted information to On Appeal.

6. Your information and account security

You must provide accurate, complete, and non-misleading information; disclose material facts, including facts that may weaken your position; provide only records you are permitted to share; and redact unnecessary sensitive information. Do not share account passwords, authentication codes, full payment-card numbers, bank credentials, Social Security numbers, medical records, or similar sensitive material. You may not ask Fieldstone or On Appeal to impersonate you or access a company account as you.

7. Business identity and pricing

Fieldstone Client Services LLC operates On Appeal as its customer-facing service. Free Qualification costs $0. Full Case Review costs $3 and ends at delivery. Review + One Follow-Up costs $6 and adds one completed reassessment after a substantive business response. Unlimited Case Support costs $10 and adds reasonable-use reassessments for the same dispute while the case remains active. Every paid option receives the same initial analytical quality. Upgrades cost only the difference between tiers. An Unlimited Case Support case closes automatically after 90 days without substantive activity; upgrading does not create a new case.

8. No guarantee

Fieldstone does not guarantee that a company or organization will reconsider, reverse, improve, or respond to a decision. Public policies and prior examples may be incomplete, outdated, applied differently, or changed by the company. Any draft, assessment, or next-step suggestion depends on the information available at that time.

We never contact consumers offering to recover money, never guarantee a refund, and never take a percentage of what you receive.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use On Appeal to submit false information, harass or threaten anyone, evade account or platform rules, pursue an excluded matter, seek legal advice, or create communications that are deceptive, discriminatory, unlawful, or abusive. Fieldstone may end access when use creates risk to another person, the service, or a third party.

10. Service corrections and refunds

A qualification error made before meaningful paid work, or a hard exclusion Fieldstone reasonably should have caught at qualification, ordinarily receives a full refund. If genuinely new or omitted information later creates an exclusion, delivered initial work remains; when support has not begun, Fieldstone ordinarily refunds the incremental support premium. Disagreement alone does not create an automatic refund, but customers may request review of a specific alleged error. A material error in the On Appeal service will be corrected and redelivered, with a refund when the customer was materially deprived of the service. A technical failure that prevents delivery will be corrected or refunded. Support is not automatically refunded merely because a matter resolves quickly or uses fewer interactions.

11. Cancellation and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. Fieldstone may decline, pause, or end work under these terms. Stopping ends future work but does not retract a message already sent.

12. Limits of responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fieldstone is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; missed deadlines; a customer’s decision to send, change, or omit a communication; or the decisions and conduct of a company, organization, service provider, or other third party. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fieldstone’s total liability arising from a paid service will not exceed the amount paid for that service. These limits do not exclude any responsibility that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

13. Changes and contact

Fieldstone may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version. Questions may be sent to support@onappeal.org.
