The Company Won’t Honor Its Warranty

Quote the specific coverage you rely on and the exact denial. Then show how the product, date, failure, and claim steps satisfy the stated terms. A general statement that the company “must honor the warranty” is less persuasive than resolving its particular exclusion or process objection.

When the case is stronger

  • The correct warranty version clearly covers the failure and requested first-line remedy.
  • Every proof-of-purchase, registration, maintenance, and claim step was completed.
  • The denial relies on facts contradicted by the inspection record.

When the case is weaker

  • The wrong warranty version or a marketing summary is being used.
  • The product or failure is excluded.
  • The customer skipped a required diagnostic or authorized-service step.

High-value evidence

  • Applicable warranty and receipt
  • Model and serial number
  • Claim and service records
  • Denial and cited exclusion
  • Evidence responding to the exclusion

The business’s strongest plausible position

The company may rely on exclusions, required procedures, unauthorized repair, lack of proof, or a limited remedy sequence.

Realistic remedies

  • Reopen the claim with a specific evidence correction
  • Complete the covered diagnostic or repair step
  • Provide the next remedy supported after a failed covered repair
